True Blood Season 5 Teaser!

I know, I know. I've been sparse around these parts. That's only because I've been busy handling my other blog (books and film) and still writing for my local magazine, which recently merged with Morris Publication. That's right! I'm moving on up... So you can definitely catch me over here, or here.

And yes, I'm still writing. Actually I'm in my editing phase, which is much more tedious and boring, considering I have ADD (that is undiagnosed, I can only assume).

But, it seems that we have been graced with a new teaser for Season Five of True Blood! Let's check it out together.

Season 5 - Buried Tease

Oh, Russell how I've missed him. I must say, that I thoroughly enjoyed his performance on American Horror Story this last Fall on the FX channel. Dennis O'Hare is such a great actor, his return should bring some good times for our two vamps that chose to bury him in cement... Instead of giving him the true death like they do with every other vampire. (That, I will never understand.) Season 5 should be pretty cray, cray! I'm looking forward to it!

EW Trifecta Awesomeness!!

Can I tell you that I adore that picture above? Though Taylor's hand is slightly too close for comfort, the picture is the perfect capture of the trifecta and who they represent in the Twilight Saga. Bella leaning on Edward, while Jacob would seemingly try to cop a feel... Whatever, it's a cool picture!

So I just have to say that I was able to see Breaking Dawn last night. Honestly, I was blown away at certain scenes, in particular the maternity scenes and the birthing scene. And that's all I'll say for now. Here's to Breaking Dawn's release!

Instagram Is My New Addiction!

So it all started with Sam Bradley tweeting his instagram photos. I had no idea what instagram was, but suspected it was just a site that allowed you to upload photos much like twitpic. So I downloaded the app and ignored it.

Well, it’s a little more than that!

It’s actually a site that sucks you in and draws out the competitiveness in you. That’s right! It’s all about taking the most artistically stunning photos that you can possibly take with your iPhone, known as iPhoneography.

I have become addicted to this. I shit you not, I look at everything that I pass, as a photo opportunity. OMG, it’s a freaking disease!! Not only that, there are tons of great apps that allow you to take great photos with your phone and apps that allow you to edit them.

So here’s my question, who else is addicted to instagram and who’s on? Leave your user name in the comments and I’d love to follow you. Mine is suziesetz.

But if you’re new to it, let me just give you a few hinters on how to get started. First, download and create your instagram account using your iPhone.

Next, take photos! Here is a blog post that I stumbled on to find the best apps to use. Click next web. Just alone on my phone, I have ProCamera and Camera+ to take photos. If I want the photo to be black and white, I use MonoPhix.

For photo editing, I use FX Photostudio, Dynamic Light, and Picfx.

For fun, I will use ShakeitPhoto which gives it a polaroid feel (and you do have to shake your iPhone to produce the image. Cheap and fun!)

Once you’ve edited your photo, upload to instagram! That’s it. But, actually that’s not it! Now, you’ll find that you will become a fucking street correspondent, looking for the most obscure, architecturally significant photos you can muster.

So if you are looking for a fun way to showcase your creativity, get addicted! It’s actually amazing how gorgeous some of the photos that are uploaded are. To think, all they used was a smart phone.

Ok, I just stumbled across this and thought I would share. The controversial film, directed by Lars von Trier is "On Demand". This means you can purchase this film for $9.99 and see it before it's limited release, November 18. Keep in mind that limited release means very selected theatres. It's possible that it may not even play near you, so if you have been curious about this film, it's a great way to see it.

Summary: Two sisters find their already strained relationship challenged as a mysterious new planet threatens to collide into the Earth.
