But it's time for Friday Wrap-Up!
First up, Sophia from Sophia The Writer has bestowed an award to little ole me!
"I've followed Suzie's True Blood Twilight blog since the beginning and I'm really excited to see her journey through fanfic and into other writing as well. Suzie embodies the Aloha spirit, which is such a mainland thing to say lol Suzie, I'm so rooting for you!" - Sophia
Let me tell, it is not the award that I'm touched by, it's Sophia's comment. I truly am blessed to have discovered my love for writing and I'm even more blessed, that anyone else reads it. Honestly, that's how I feel. So thank you Sophia, and if you are not a follower of her blog; please check her out. Sophia has an interesting resume; former actress and playwrite (and the original iPod model-I freaking love that!) and currently writing YA novels. Mahalo!!
Over at I Adore Books and Film, I reviewed Ip Man 2: Legend of the Grandmaster. It is a Chinese Foreign film, undubbed and uncut--AWESOME!! It opens today in selected theaters. Go support your foreign films!!
As for book reviews, I'm currently in the middle of "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest" and Noe is about to unleash her anger when she writes her review of "Pretty Little Liars"--My daughter gave me her verbal review last night, and the word "stupid" was used quite a bit. I will be editing her review! One of those book reviews will be up next week.
Over at this blog, we took a look at Catherine Hardwicke's second trailer for Red Riding Hood (which I've already pleaded with Warner Bros. to give me a screener) and Taytay's "Official" images from his new film, Abduction.
Over at my film newsletter, Screen Shots, we have three movie reviews: Ip Man 2, Blue Valentine and The Dilemma. To view my film newsletter, click here.
And last... To commemorate The King's Speech for its 12 Oscar nominations, I bring you the real King's speech. (Thanks NextMovie!) Have a great weekend!
