Ok, so these are my random thoughts.
Um, first I need that tab. FYI, did not spell anyone's fucking name right in the beginning, so shoot me. I got it. It's Stefan not Stephan.
Caroline and Damon. First, it disturbs me to think that she has no parental supervision. I'm curios to know more about her family and does she live with her dad and not the mom? Going back to Caroline. Is she always in a trance? At times, he needs to glamour (yes, I'm using True Blood terminology) her to actually get her to do things against her will. So it appears that sometimes, she has free will but then she's ok with him killing and using her? So again, is she always in a trance?
Elena finding out about Caroline and her bite marks is important. That shit needs to stop and Elena finally realizing that Damon is dangerous means we're headed for some choppy waters. Now, did I miss something with the necklace? Does that prevent Damon from glamourizing Elena? That's what I got and that's interesting. So the ring allows the boys to be able to come out in daylight and the necklace protects Elena somewhat. So emphasis at the end on the pocket watch. Hmm. I see a pattern here with jewelery. Ok, I'm piecing this together here.
Now, one major observation this episode. Stefan is cute. Yeah, that's my major observation, and I'm throwing that in there. I don't know if it's because we've seen a few kissing scenes with Elena or maybe it's the long glares that he likes to give. But he's zexy. Took me this long to figure it out but once it happens, you know me. I'm all about the Salvatore brothers... (Italian BTW?)
So Katerina is a fire starter. She's descended from Salem Witches right? I look forward to her character revealing more of her supernatural powers and how pretty was that one room with all the candles lit. Sorry, ADD. Had to say that. But going back to the pocket watch that belonged to Elena and Steven's dad. What does that mean about their family? Do they have a history of being Vampire Killers?
We get a little information from Damon about Katherine's death and we see that there is a secret society of bitchy town folk that are out to get that pocket watch and obviously aware of the boys. Then poor Damon (Ok, he's pretty evil) gets drugged and thrown in prison under Uncle's house (which is full of pot. Come on. I know you thought that when you saw his hydroponic system).
My moment of squee came from Kayla visiting Steven towards the end and kissing him. About. Time. Seriously.
My moment of WTF has to be from Stefan and Damon. Now as a 17 year old, I completely understand things will go over your head but as an older viewer watching the show. I seriously was like, "Damon and Stefan both loved the same girl?" Is that rape for Damon if the girl is under 17 and also wouldn't you be like "Dude, how old where you? 14 or 15?" I mean for Stefan to have such an intense relationship, come on really? So I guess what I'm trying to say is that he's way too mature for his age and he needs to watch how much he actually reveals about his past girlfriend because technically most boys that age don't have that much going on. I mean, you know what I mean.
So that's my take on last night episode. Sorry if it's random, I just have lot's of questions. Here's the music from last night's episode & trailer courtesy of Vampire-Diaries.Net
